BUIDL_QUESTS 2025 Begins: Why We’re Doubling Down on AgentFi

Amber Group is launching BUIDL_QUESTS 2025 today. BUIDL_QUESTS 2025, our global builder initiative focused on the next frontier of crypto: AgentFi. This year, we’re going bigger — not just in scale, but in conviction. Backed by over US$10 million in incentives, we’re creating space for developers, researchers, and entrepreneurs to explore what happens when onchain systems meet intelligent agents.

This year’s theme is clear: AgentFi — A New Paradigm for the AI Economy.

At amber.ac, we believe AgentFi is more than just another narrative — it’s a paradigm shift. In this emerging design space, AI-powered agents interact with crypto networks directly: making decisions, executing strategies, allocating capital, and evolving autonomously. These aren’t bots or plugins; they’re onchain economic actors, capable of governance, coordination, and collaboration. The question is no longer if this happens, but how we design it.

BUIDL_QUESTS 2025 is how we begin answering that question. Through this program, we’re supporting the early builders of the agent economy with capital, mentorship, and real-world application pathways. In this space, we’re not just looking for polished products, but bold ideas, strange experiments, and infrastructure-level breakthroughs that will define how this space scales.

To make that possible, we’ve assembled one of the most ambitious support packages in Web3 builder history:

*Projects that demonstrate qualified innovation in combining AI and DeFi may receive additional TVL support (over $20M) to accelerate mainnet launch and protocol integration, subject to amber.ac review.

Participants will be fast-tracked into the amber.ac accelerator, gain mentorship from top minds in crypto and AI, and receive direct GTM and investor support through the broader Amber ecosystem. In short, it is an on-ramp into the core of what comes next.

This year’s theme focuses on two tracks:

1. AgentFi Infrastructure — Runtimes, comms layers, multi-agent logic, and governance engines.

2. AgentFi Applications — Agent-powered DAOs, autonomous dApps, crypto-native business models, and composable interfaces that let agents transact and collaborate across systems.
